I think i'm a very passive person who doesnt like to get involved in a lot of things. and i'm not sure if thats a good thing or not. i certainly dont understand how some people squeeze their days and nights with all sorts of activities and committments. sometimes i wonder if my own attitude borders on laziness or a wish to rest. everybody seems to be learning driving but i'm in no hurry to do so. everybody seems to be giving tuition but not me. it really takes something worth while for me to commit to something. like if i feel tired then sorry, i'm not leaving my bed. i dont like feeling obliged to do something, yet at the same time there are occasions where i wish i was a bit more involved. i have never had the desire to be a busy bee. hey, my ideal lifestyle is to live in siberia and sit on a mountaintop to watch the sun set. sometimes i have the urge to tell people to stop packing their week with so many things. but then i'm certainly not an authority in time management. i love to sleep, but there are many who think its a waste of time. so what exactly constitutes effective use of your time? is it better to do a few things well at a leisurely pace or to rush many things? unfortunately, the rat race of this world is not one where you can sit for long to think things through. when you heard of the phrase "too few people doing too many things", you might think of people like me who are not helping the situation. i'd like to say that many times, i think its these people doing too many unnecessary things. i think many people try too hard. active question: do you walk with God or run with God? passive question: are you carried by God? i know not everybody agrees with me. everybody's different, fair enough. it just seems that i'm surrounded by many active people.
