I am so glad i didnt go to the nus open house. i hear it wasnt terribly exciting. i fully understand, having gone there myself last year. the most exciting thing we did was collect a million balloons and then letting them go. i've had enough of science so faculty of arts and social sciences it shall be, though school of design and environment sounds pretty interesting.
i finally got to do ticketing. and two days in a row too. as usual i managed to piss some people off because i wasnt too profficient in using the nets and credit card machines. why some people decide to use mastercard for a three dollar ticket is beyond me anyway. i had an excess of $7 on the first day and $10 on the second. looks like some guests didnt get their correct change haha... too bad the excess money doesnt go to me. maybe they use it to buy the milo and biscuits inside the office. i was talking to my supervisor during my early morning shift when the station had just opened and there was nobody else around. he thinks i need to worry less, stop thinking so much and relax a bit more. hmm.. has he been reading my blog? he also thinks i need to find a girlfriend quick. having one will give you something to look forward to each morning you wake up. hmmm....... some other boss high up was doing his rounds and he thinks it would be better if i were a bit taller. that was quite funny actually. and today some kid called me "uncle". now i feel so old. the music they play at the station is seriously irritating. but some guests love it. they even dance to it. well at least they're in the right frame of mind. poor souls like me go to sentosa to work.
