This week was rather interesting. i was temporary PA to a brigadier general for one morning because the ususal PA was taking his ippt. i am so glad i am not required to take ippt.. haha! so anyway on that day, even before my PA duties started, i had to find the special staircase that goes to the special carpark for big shots. which meant that by the time i found it, he was already standing outside his car. so i carry his briefcase for him and when we walk into the building, everyone immediately jumps up and salutes him and as for me the little recruit walking behind him i was like "er... wow... maybe they're saluting me too!" i wish.. its only june and my officers are already asking me to clear my leave. "why?" i ask. "because november and december are for us.. you cant take leave then! someone has to be around in the office!" the disadvantages of being the bottom of the military food chain. maybe its not a bad idea after all: there are no public holidays in june and july.

Anybody who thinks that God only supplies their needs and not their wants ought to look at their bibles closely. In Psalms 23 its says the Lord is my shepherd, i shall not be in want.
