nothing much to say these days.. new year no new resolutions.. i've been a good boy doing my homework and online tutorials.. yeah.. start the year right.. coz it usually goes wrong sometime later.. hopefully not for this year though.. make or break year.. my base class overlooks this plot of land where an arts centre is being constructed and its quite fascinating to watch them work.. that is when we ourselves arent working of course.. trying to figure out why they're banging and drilling into random parts of the ground.. what if they measure something wrongly? and hey! whys that slacker over there just sitting around?
One week gone. 50 more weeks to Christmas. 51 more weeks to 2007. notice i havent said anything about the dreaded exams coming.. coming quite soon as a matter of fact - thats what everybody says.. so must start studying.. go do some TYS.. ha.. thats what i said before school closed last year.. didnt happen of course..
The school gave us this student portfolio book.. i'm not quite sure what for.. but i believe one element of it involves setting targets and timelines.. but i dont think i will.. i've never been a fan of goal setting and planning in detail.. because we never achieve it.. eg: finish one chapter a week!.. yeah right.. one month later also still the same: zero.nothing done.square one.. i remember before o lvls they made us sit down and write the grades we wanted for each subject.. so stupid.. saying i aim for B3 for bio and A1 for maths means i put more effort into maths? like no.. just leave it to God.. i never bothered to calculate how many points i was aiming for.. and i wont do the same at the end of this year.. everything happens in His time and plan..
