I wont be updating my blog for a while.. i wish i could say its because i'm studying hard and staying away from all distractions.. but actually its because i dont think i'll have much time this week to touch the pc, let alone update a blog..
This week is the wasbe conference.. so the world's top bands are coming to our tiny red dot island.. so it'll be concerts everyday from this sunday to next saturday.. a quick look at the repertoire shows some pretty heavy stuff that will bore most people.. maybe including me.. but i'll be there watching their trumpet sections especially.. and then perhaps go home feeling guilty for not practising so much, or envious because i sound like crap compared to them.. yeah..
I'll be going to esplanade more times this week than i ever had previously in my entire life.. we acjc band should go form an esplanade fan club.. esp since we have a concert there every year too..
Speaking of band.. today's prac was quite good.. without the seniors we really had to play eveything.. no cheating and staggering.. my lips feel like they're gonna drop off.. i couldnt reach G at the end.. and i would like to play the trombone some day.. haha..
